On September the 2nd, our Lincoln Park Greyhounds ran an amazing race at the St. Edwards Cross Country Invitational.
There were multiple races that our team ran that day including: Varsity Girls 5K, Varsity Boys 5K, and MS Girls 3K. Although Lincoln Park Academy did not win the meet, they still did their best to make their school and team proud.
One of the things I noticed while watching and taking part in this race is that our team finished hard and encouraged each other to try their best, showing amazing sportsmanship. The overall winners of the St. Edwards Invitational were Vero Beach High School and South Fork.
There is still plenty of space left on the team, please feel free to contact the athletic director Coach Moore if you are interested about joining the team. We are hoping to see more of a turnout to support our fellow greyhounds at the next meet which will be at St. Lucie West Centennial High School on September the 8th at 5:30 PM.
